What is an active contributor?

An active contributor is a distinct human GitHub user who authored at least one pull request that coance evaluated in a private repository of your organization during the month. Bots never count, and neither do people who only review. Contributors to public repositories never count.

For example, if Alice opens five pull requests and Bob one in your private repositories this month, and a dependency bot opens ten, you have two active contributors.

What happens over the Free limit?

When an organization on the Free plan has more than 3 active contributors in a month, coance pauses on its private repositories: it stops opening threads and its check reports that the limit was reached. Public repositories keep working. To let one pull request through anyway, comment /coance override on it. Upgrading to Team resumes coance right away.

How is Team billed?

Team starts with a 14-day free trial. After that, each month (or year) you pay for the active contributors coance counted, at $10 per contributor a month or $100 per contributor a year. You can switch between monthly and annual billing, or cancel, at any time from the app.
